Leadership, Planning, and Recognition in Rotifunk

December brought well-earned recognition and careful planning at Rotifunk Hospital.

Hospital administrator Moshen Musa Lumeh was honored by the local health board as the best hospital administrator in the Bumpeh Chiefdom — recognition for measurable improvements in healthcare delivery over the past year.

Behind the scenes, critical maintenance work continued. Termite treatment, septic repairs, and infrastructure assessments addressed issues that directly affect patient safety and sanitation.

The hospital also finalized its 2026 budget and priorities, focusing on water systems, sanitation, staffing, solar power, and completion of the new great hall. These plans reflect a thoughtful balance between immediate needs and long-term sustainability.

Moments of celebration accompanied the work: Lumeh and his wife both completed their Master’s degrees, a testament to leadership committed to growth and learning.

As the year closed, Rotifunk Hospital stood stronger — not because challenges disappeared, but because planning, partnership, and perseverance carried it forward.
